Marilyn Manson recently revealed that Johnny Depp and his 9-year-old son will feature on his new album Born Villain. Manson spoke to MTV last month, saying that Depp recorded drums and lead guitar on a cover of Carly Simon's You're So Vain. The track has now appeared online, and it doesn't sound half bad really.
Depp also made a surprise appearance with Manson on stage at the Golden Gods Awards, playing guitar in the backing lineup for tracks Sweet Dreams and The Beautiful People.
You're So Vain appears as a bonus track on Born Villain.
Depp will be playing the part of Tonto in the upcoming new Disney movie version of The Lone Ranger, which will have Jack White to write and perform the score.
