The fourth annual REVOLVER GOLDEN GODS AWARD SHOW presented by Epiphone® took place last night (April 11) at Club Nokia in Downtown Los Angeles. For the first time ever, the event was broadcast live in its entirety on Xbox LIVE, as well as on the Xbox and Revolver Facebook pages.
Hosting duties for the GOLDEN GODS awards show was handled by FOZZY frontman and WWE pro-wrestling legend Chris Jericho, who returned for the third consecutive year.
In what could possibly be the band's only performance of 2012, and their first in 4 years, the wait was over as Sixx:A.M. fans as the band opened the show. They performed their new single "Are You With Me Now" and the top 10 active rock hit "This Is Gonna Hurt." Nikki Sixx is also up for the "Best Bassist" award and won – much to our delight.
Fellow Eleven Seven Artists HELLYEAH And Buckcherry where also on hand on the night to present awards.
"Every year, the Revolver Golden Gods grows bigger and more badass. The 2012 edition is without question the most epic one yet, from the performers and presenters to the nominees and honorees," states Revolver Editor in Chief Brandon Geist. "And this year, with the GRAMMY Museum launching its tie-in 'Golden Gods: The History of Heavy Metal' exhibit, and Xbox LIVE broadcasting the show around the world as it goes down in its entirety, the event will truly encompass the full timeline of heavy music and span the globe. Epic, indeed."

The list of performers on the night included Duff McKagan's Loaded, Devildriver, Asking Alexadria, Volbeat, Fozzy and Alice Cooper, but the biggest surprise on the night came from Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp.
Manson then went into his single 'No Reflection' from his upcoming album 'Born Villain.' After an emotional and demented performance of the track, Manson went into his famous cover of 'Sweet Dreams' by British pop duo Eurythmics. The crowd immediately brought out their cameras as Manson surprised them by bringing out Johnny Depp as a guest guitarist on the song.
"We've got one more song for you motherf—in' motherf—ers," Manson stated standing next to Depp as the band launched into 'The Beautiful People.' The Golden Gods crowd went nuts after the performance, where Manson and Depp stood side-by-side with their arms around each other.
