Johnny Depp's 'Rum Diary' co-star Amber Heard isn't staying quiet despite the speculation that the two are a new couple so soon after Depp's split from long-time love Vanessa Paradis. The rumor comes just less than a week since the couple's rep confirmed the news of the split, although similar stories have plagued the couple for the last few months indicating they have been separated for longer. Amber gushes that Johnny lights up a room when he enters it and sounds smitten when she says he looks even better close-up:
'He lights up a room. He looks even better close up. Johnny is a wonderful, special person."
She also revealed recently that she was handpicked by Depp for the role, and since the film wrapped up, they've stayed in touch:
"I auditioned four times and was told that Johnny would make the final choice. We've stayed friends, because that's the kind of man he is."
