Our all time favorite actor Johnny Depp has recently split with his long term partner Vanessa Paradis. It appears that they were not married, but have been together for 14 years. There seems to be a major problem with child support issues, bank accounts, shared assets and investments.
Johnny Depp is potentially worth over $350 million in assets and money worth a net worth of $100 million in annual salary. Vanessa may just be about to get some of these assets. It is said that the two may have had some sort of co-habitation agreement. Well we recently discovered what is actually at stake in this major break up. In 2004 Johnny bought Little Ponds Cay, a 45 acre Island with six beaches for $3.6 million.
Also more to name that is possibly up for grabs is his 1920′s castle-like home in West Hollywood bought in 1995 for $5 million, a 17th century Venetian Palazzo in Venice which he won the bid for $13.4 million after filming the "The Tourist", a 156 foot Yacht named Vajoliroha with a formal dining room, master suite and four guest cabins for $33 million. Last but not least as far as being reported, a property that Depp had bought for Paradis which is just north of Saint Tropez, a vineyard in a village in France for $20 million.
I must say that Depp made big money in his acting career and invested the money very wisely especially with the investment of the Six beach Island. Hope the dispute doesn't get too nasty, we're hoping it all works out for the best and that a judge does not have to get involved.
