Aamir, Ranbir, Deepika, Kangana get bitten by the 'selfie' bug ...


NDTV India presented their annual awards, which honored exceptional Indians from various fields. As per their statement, the 'NDTV Indian of the Year Award recognises eminent visionaries, political leaders, sports personalities and entertainers who have not just strengthened the foundations of our society but have also helped build Brand India.'



Among our B-town stars, Kangna Ranaut, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were the deserving winners. While Ranbir won NDTV Icon of the Year award, Deepika was presented with the NDTV Entertainer of the Year award. Kangna won the

NDTV Actress of the Year and received it from none other than Aamir Khan. Aamir Khan was all praises for Kangna after watching her performance in 'Queen'. Kangna on her part said she was flattered to receive this award from Aamir. "It's really flattering to be here and receive this award. I was told Aamir was going to present me this award so I had to be here. He has been a huge inspiration and this is a very special evening, " she said.



Deepika, who landed in New Delhi after a 20 hour long flight for the event said, "Am very nervous about being billed Bollywood's Golden Girl, this award matters most to me.". She also spoke about the recently concluded IIFA Awards and her famous dance there with Hollywood star Kevin Spacey. "Kevin Spacey is so graceful in a lungi," she said.


Here is Deepika posing for a selfie soon after she reached the venue for the event. Do you also notice a Mr. Singh in the picture? Apparently Ranveer accompanied her on the way back. Sweet!



Ranbir Kapoor on receiving his award commented, "Aamir Khan is a superstar, Dr (Prannoy) Roy is a superstar." He also joked that he is currently uninspired as he has had no work since wrapping Bombay Velvet.
