The Thin Man series, I highly suggest you buy, download or seek out these film immediately because they contain some of the sharpest and wittiest lines of dialog known to man (Not to mention they also feature a happily married couple who drink to excess and solves crimes).
Now, that a re-make of the highly successful series from the 30s and 40s is being made (starring Johnny Depp as Nick) the search for Nora is creating kind of a firestorm in Hollywood.
According to Deadline, the following actresses are being considered for the coveted role of the boozy, sharped-tongue detective Nora Charles: Eva Green, Amy Adams, Emma Stone, Carey Mulligan, Rachel Weisz, Kristen Wiig, Emily Blunt and Isla Fisher.
Now, whomever the choose will have to pull off the ability to match wits with Nick, drip with sarcasm and use her superior intellect to solve crimes, so ladies, you might want to bone up on some Nora-isms starting now.
