Besides breaking out of long-term seemingly perfect relationships – all are Geminis. Geminis have been going through a bit of a rough patch for the past two years with austere Saturn transitting their sector of romance in tandem with control-freak Pluto in their house of emotional intimacy. Moreover, Mars is currently making an extra-long journey through their home sector until July – forcing long-overdue changes in the family structure. A series of eclipses in their relationship houses (the last one at the end of last year) is also shaking things up and pushing bad situations to a breaking point.
Saturn's transit of the romance sector can make love seem more like work than play. Coupledom may become nothing more than an endless stream of duties and obligations with very little joy to be found. For creative people, especially, the binds of relational responsibilities with little spontaneity or sense of fun could seem too harsh and restrictive to put up with.
Pluto, at the same time, is ratcheting up the drama, and control issues, jealousy, anger, resentment, envy, manipulation, etc, etc have been defining close relationships ever since late 2008. Pluto doesn't like to back down, and if fights get out of hand, there will be very little desire to compromise, but instead to dig in one's heels until one gets one's way – which could wear partners down.
Many Geminis may finally get up the courage to move to better surroundings during Mars' extended transit of their home sector – although they may rethink the situation and fall into temporary stagnancy when it goes retro from January 23rd until April 13th. This retro period, however, may also give the opportunity to extract oneself, financially and materially, before finally being able to physically move on later this spring.
