The Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau is in looking for 2012 Miss Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau candidates. The young woman named Miss Farm Bureau will represent the Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau at various functions over the course of the year and participate in the Miss Maryland Agriculture Contest in August.
Anne Arundel County is looking for a Miss Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau. Here are the Miss Maryland Agriculture candidates from 2011 from the Maryland Farm Bureau website.
The winning candidate will be selected at the annual AACFB picnic on June 24 at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. Those interested (16 to 19 years old) will have an opportunity to earn money and scholarships, network with people in the field of agriculture and improve public speaking skills.
Requirements are that the candidate's parents/family need to become or have been an Anne Arundel County Farm Bureau member(s) and have some agriculture background. This could include living and/or working on a farm or participating in 4H programs or other related agriculture programs.
