Geoff Boucher, who writes for the Hero Complex blog at the Los Angeles Times, visited the soundstages of the dark shadows when the Tim Burton film to shoot at Pinewood last summer. According to Boucher, the director seems much more comfortable in the re-created Collingwood at the mansion as the mind-numbing green screen sets of his previous film, Alice in Wonderland. "It's so nice to come here to work - not everything is green," says Burton, adding that the more realistic for the benefit of the creative process.
