Most people probably already know what Madame Tussauds is. But if you have been living in a cave for the past 200 years we well give you a short introduction:
Madame Tussauds is a wax figures attraction where all the major celebrities can be seen. It is a great opportunity to see your favourite artist or actor in – kind of – real life. The museum is an international phenomenon and it is opening in Sydney on Monday 16th April!!!
As the first Madame Tussauds to arrive on Australian shores is located at the beautiful Darling Harbour in Sydney's CBD and a few minutes' walk from Nomads Westend Backpackers hostel. The attraction has over 70 wax figures including some of Australia's most loved Aussie personalities. Brangelina, Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga and Hugh Jackson are just a few of the celebrities that can be found in this fantastic attraction. The best thing about this attraction is that the wax figures just looks like the real person. So Fake it –and tell your friend that you saw Brangelina
Did you know – It takes about 800 hours to make 1 wax figure! Holy moly that is a long time of staring at Johnny Depp (not a bad job at all)
The attraction will be open daily from 9:00 till 20:00 hours.
Admission for an adult is $35, and for a child $ 20,
It will be a FANTASIC DAY out!!! You will probably need to have one more set of eyes to see all of these great created waxed images!!
If you live not that close to darling harbour, you can go by ferry, depart from Circular Quay Wharf 5 about every half an hour. Also you can go by train, it's a short walk from Town Hall station or Wynard Station. And don't forget the bus, it's a stop number 24 on the City Sightseeing Hop-on Hop-off bus.
