New Avengers-tv spot - "head count".
It seems to be that I totally missed the german version of a "Doctor Who"-show so far. Something I'm going to change in the summer.
And compared to the Doctor, our hero even has a name - Ijon Tichy, profession: space pilot. The show started 2007 and has two seasons up to this point. Equipped with a tiny eastern europe-accent, a space rocket and a female companion in the form of a hologram (called: analogue hallucinella), he travels through space (and sometimes even time) where no sober human being has ever been. To call the show kind of low-tech, well, is probably still an understatement. The aliens look like they were built out of the contents of my recycling bin but judging from what I watched so far, damn, it has more heart, brain and phantasy than some other sci-fi shows.
Doctor, pull your socks up, because our "Held vom Kosmos" rocks - and white undershirts just got cool again.
Not that the Doctor is idle - he did quite a - hm, not sure how to properly describe it - movie with Eva Green. "Womb".
Well, another movie with Eva Green this year is easier to describe - let's say groovy vampire. Not Eva, she's a witch but Johnny Depp. "Dark Shadows".
And then there are "lips red as blood, hair black as night" - "Snow White and The Huntsman". "Bring me your heart, dear, dear Snow White..." - Charlize Theron as the evil Queen is quite impressing and the trailer looks not too shitty right up to the point where wood elves and unicorns appear. I know, it's not really an unicorn, it's a white deer but I get this unicorn/rainbow-feeling. Hm.
