With Johnny Depp portraying Tonto, the Lone Ranger’s ever faithful sidekick, this movie should really be a blast.
Armie Hammer portrays the Lone Ranger, and dutifully helps us answer the question “Who Was That Masked Man.”
The movie was brought to you by director Gore Urbanski, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the same 20 that brought you the first three Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
From what I can see from the trailer, it would appear that the Lone Ranger has been assembled in a similar fashion as the Pirates movies. Lots of action, plenty of explosions, and of course Johnny get there to make oddball comments at just the right moment to keep the audience laughing and on the edge of their seats.
Clayton Moore did not return our call for a comment, but loud noises were over heard in the area of Forrest Lawn Cemetery, said to be the sound of someone rolling over in their grave.
