A woman can be as ugly as the underside of the bonnet of a Beatle, but should she have a set of pipes on her, automatically she flutters from a cocoon of desperate taunting disaster, to a place of soulful gorgeousness.

I would make tea.

Except Adele, she has as little chance as a doughnut dropped in a 2km radius of her.

That being said I thought I would drop a couple of songs that I am listening to at the moment and what my thoughts are around them, I have had to resort to this, writing about music as to try and push a point about beauty in voices, and that fact that with Adele, pies remain unsafe.

Is it okay to listen to Adele on World Hunger Day?

Anyway, enough about that.

Lera Lynn – Wolf Like Me

This was brought to my attention by HomeSchool, he is currently facetiously writing a novel while he sits in the Eastern Cape soaking up his grandmother's food.

Wolf like me is a cover of TV on the Radio's original from the album Return to Cookie Mountain.

Baby doll I recognize, you're a hideous thing inside, if ever there were a lucky kind it's you.

Try your best to ignore that with Hipster, so will the banjo make a comeback and really listen to this song as loudly as you can. Her voice gives me a belief that if a unicorn were to exist, Barry Ronge would shit rainbows and Bear Grylls would celebrate the legalisation of cross-species intercourse as he has pillow talk with a Zebra.

The Enemy – Give Me a Sign

Reminds me of around 2006 when I was going through a serious stage of, I will only like music, if it comes from the mud island. I was battling with The Enemy then, but thanks to Makem, I have been pleased with everything that I have listened to from them.

Pleased not blown away, this is the type of track you only play when you are travelling over 100km/h an hour absolutely sure that no one can see you looking like an absolute tit.

Well you can press more buttons than a sky remote, but sing a tune and I bet you'll choke, step outside cos we're coming through, we've got no time for this or you.

It's thrash about in its purest form.

The Civil Wars – Billie Jean

Firstly people must get pissed off when they ask this oke for a photo and he later tells you that he is in fact not Johnny Depp.

I also suggest that you do not watch this video, unless you have witnessed a cardiac arrest before, the movements of this women will leave you feeling awkward.

The band won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Folk Album in 2012.

You will notice that I have done a ridiculous amount of research about these guys, I have listened to 20 Years and it's much of the same. I just like how their voices work together.

Don't listen to 20 Years, if someone has recently died in your family, you will end up on the wrong side of South African suicide statistics.

Noah – Pumped up Kicks

This cat's voice shits over anything that I have ever heard, getting hold of his music is probably harder than it is for him to run 2km.  However, the dudes got nuts.

He does a weekly cover, as asked for by the community that listen. He is like a one-man-band at your dodgy local, who sells his self-titled Christian albums – on a Sunday.

I love him because he is doing his shit.

Once you get passed the "Hey Everybody!" in every video, and you listen to his voice, real talent is witnessed.  When you realise that you are going to get more views and have a longer shelf life on YouTube  than let's say… any reality talent show.
