LOS ANGELES—House hunters in Southern California have a rare opportunity this weekend to see a Pierre Koenig house, one of the iconic architect's last, up close and personal. The 1983 Gantert/Rose House, currently on the market in the Hollywood Hills for close to $1.6M, will be open to potential purchasers from 2-5pm on Sunday. [Curbed Inbox]

CANADA—Cellphone pioneer Craig McCaw and his wife Susan have listed their island getaway near Vancouver. That doesn't sound like much until you realize their island getaway is an entire island, a 780-acre one no less, and it's listed for a cool $75M. Formerly the site of dynamite factory, the island now hosts a private Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, an airstrip, a 5,000-square-foot main house built from cedar, a huge warehouse of an entertainment center, and six guest cottages. NASHVILLE, TENN.—Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp, who already has a host of properties around the world (including a private island), has reportedly been hunting for a home in Nashville, Tenn. Despite spending much of his time in L.A. and France, the Kentucky-born Depp has a taste for the town. [The Real Estalker]
